Job Title: Administrator
Reports to: Practice Manager
Location: Sidas Podiatry Clinic, Bridge House, 1 Bridge St, Kendal, LA9 7DD
Hours per week: 14 hours – 2 days one to be Friday the other flexible (Plus holiday cover)
Salary: National Living Wage – age dependant
Expected start date: ASAP
About Sidas Podiatry Clinic:
The SIDAS Podiatry Clinic has been open since 2010, with an excellent local reputation. The Clinic provides quality private foot health & sports injury care across a range of services, from basic nail cutting to toenail surgery, biomechanical musculoskeletal assessments, 3D gait analysis, orthotic provision, Shockwave Therapy, Laser Therapy and treating foot and ankle sports injuries. Our practice is located in the heart of Kendal.
We have a busy practice with three clinical rooms: two Podiatrists, a Foot Health Practitioner and a Sports Injury & Rehab Therapist. We are a multi-disciplinary team who seek to provide the best service possible for our clients.

The role:
This role is mainly administrative and involves a significant amount of multi-tasking.
You will be expected to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. This will include, supporting the clinical team, as well as working closely with the practice manager. You will be quick minded, have a good logical approach to problem solving and the ability to work well under pressure.
Qualifications and skills
-
2+ years’ receptionist and administrative experience desirable
-
Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks based on importance
-
Familiarity with Microsoft Office desirable
-
Familiarity with Cliniko practice management system desirable
Training will be provided on all practice systems and protocols.

Ability to multi-task, as well the ability to work using your own initiative and adapt to changes in the business
General Administrative Duties

Work closely with the Practice Manager to provide administrative support to clinicians and other staff on a day-to-day basis

Manage and co-ordinate day to day operations for The SIDAS Clinic

Meet and greet practice visitors in person

Manage and respond to team member and external party emails
Team Management
-
Provides ad-hoc cover where a receptionist is not available

Provide support for the clinical team
Accounts Management

Maintains petty cash
Practice Operations

Oversee daily practice operations, including appointment scheduling, billing procedures, cleaning, security and health & safety

Ensure all staff have appropriate access to records and systems as required

Be responsible for diary and patient management – check for cancellations, appointments confirmations, efficiency of patient appointments

Manage patient complaints
Practice Systems

Work with practice manager to ensure patient management system is kept up to date without duplication of information

Work with practice manager to provide a central point of co-ordination, support, knowledge and information systems for team

Maintain appropriate confidentiality of all records
