Data Protection Information for The Sidas Clinic Patients:

We operate on a paperless system. All data is held on the Cliniko.com website which uses a cloud-based system. This is password protected and encrypted. For further information on Cliniko security, you can read more at https://www.cliniko.com/security


We collect certain data from you to meet mandatory requirements regarding medical notes. There is a legal requirement to keep medical notes for a period of time after treatment (for a minimum of 7 years). Your details will be destroyed after this period. Your personal information will be used for your treatment, in which to give The Sidas Clinic the details required to give you appropriate treatment/advice. Your information, regarding treatment, will only be accessed by the therapists. We will not share this information (i.e. with other medical professionals such as your doctor) without your permission. We take your privacy seriously and will take all reasonable steps to ensure the protection of your data. Please note that your right to be forgotten cannot override the legal requirement to keep medical notes for the mandatory period. You can request a copy of your details at any time. Please note if you do not wish to give us these details we are unable to carry out any assessment or treatment.

We also collect data to assist in the administration of our business to provide you with an efficient service. We would like to use your contact details to assist in the administration of appointments/reminders about appointments/update you on information about the practice. accept these terms when booking an appointment. If you do not consent to this, please inform your therapist or the receptionist on duty and we will opt you out of our communications list.
